Court hire, coaching, padel and comps — quick answers to the questions we get most often at Epping Road.
What sports can I book, and what does it cost?
Ryde Multisport & Racquet Centre offers Tennis (8 courts), Pickleball (16 courts), Padel (5 courts) and Basketball (3 courts), bookable via the Book a Court page (minimum 30-minute bookings). Tennis is $30/hour off-peak (weekdays 7am–5pm) or $37/hour peak (weekdays after 5pm and all weekend), capped at 2 hours. Basketball is $80/hour for a full court or $50/hour for a half court. Padel is booked separately via the Playtomic app (international processing fees apply) at $48/hour off-peak or $84/hour peak.
What ages does Hot Shots cover, and how much does it cost?
Our Tennis Australia Hot Shots program runs from ages 3 to 12 — from Kinder through to Ace Squad — with kids grouped by age and ability. Lessons start from $29 for a 30-minute Blue Stage session, fees are charged per session via direct debit, and Active Kids Vouchers are accepted for $50 off enrolment.
Can my child try a session before joining?
Yes — a free introductory session is available for new players. Just contact us or call (02) 9888 7466 to arrange a time.
What social sessions are on offer, and how do I book?
Pickleball Social runs Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00pm–8:00pm, with coaching drills included, booked through the Play Pickle platform. Casual court hire is also available — pricing varies by court type and time of day, so it’s worth confirming current rates when you book. Paddle and ball hire is $5.
Do you run adult tennis tournaments?
Yes — Tennis World North Ryde periodically runs a UTR-sanctioned adult doubles tournament (round robin format, graded divisions from Beginner to High Intermediate), with a BBQ included. Entry has previously been priced around $70 per pair ($35 individually). Dates and pricing change per season, so check the Tennis Competition page or call (02) 9888 7466 for the next round.
How do parties work, and what's the price?
Parties run in 2-hour sessions on weekends and are tennis-based, with court hire, equipment and a qualified coach included. Pricing is $25 per participant for groups of 1–10, $22.50 for 11–20, and $20 for 21–30, with an optional sausage-sizzle-and-drink add-on for $10 per person.
Do you run programs for schools?
Yes — Tennis World North Ryde runs on-court Hot Shots programs for local primary and secondary schools, with bus transport available through a transport partner. Enquire via the School Programs page or call (02) 9888 7466 for current availability.
Where exactly is the centre, and what are the hours?
